• I am able to upload files through the Upload/Add Media window, but, after it uploads and I insert the file into the post, the window doesn’t close. At that point, I cannot get back to my post, continue editing, or save the post. As a result, I can only upload media and save a link to a post by using ftp and then creating the link myself. That works for me, but it won’t work for my other admins.

    This started when I upgraded to 3.4.1 and has continued with 3.4.2

    Firebug Console kicks out this error:
    TypeError: f.easing[i.animatedProperties[this.prop]] is not a function
    [Break On This Error]

    …end.call(e,v,d)===!1||s===2)){v.abort();return!1}for(u in{success:1,error:1,comp…

    load-s…r=3.4.2 (line 4)

    Help!

    Sorry. Here is the code in the correct format:

    TypeError: f.easing[i.animatedProperties[this.prop]] is not a function
    [Break On This Error]

    ...end.call(e,v,d)===!1||s===2)){v.abort();return!1}for(u in{success:1,error:1,comp...

    load-s...r=3.4.2 (line 4)

    I get this issue also. Have tested Chrome, Firefox and Chrome IE Tab extension.

    Issue is also present with Gravity Forms box which uses a similar launch button and input window to Upload Media window.

    The issue is not present in another WordPress install I am Admin for (same version, same computer, same browser), which suggests that a plugin, or something else particular to the install with the issue, is the culprit.

    After some effort, I have now resolved this issue.

    The problem was a plugin called Measure My SEO:

    https://measuremyseo.com/

    Once I deactivated it I could close both the Upload Media and Gravity Forms windows.

    I tested it again by reactivating the plugin to be totally certain.

    I have now deactivated and deleted the plugin from my install.

    Whether this is also your issue jrichardson I of course have no idea, however if not, then perhaps it may suggest some clues. The plugin added extra stuff to the edit page.

    I don’t have that plugin installed. I have turned my plugins on and off, but I’ll try it again.

    Thx for the update Alex.

    I found similar issues with Media Uploader not working, but only on some browser/OS combinations – particularly Windows 7.

    Again it was a plugin – in my case “Artiss Relative Date”.

    Removing that plugin resolved the issue completely.
