Just FTP the site to your server and setup that way.

you will need to have a mysql database setup and configured to complete the process ??

    Thank you ‘Funkywebsites’

where should I look for mysql database setups.I heard that Setting up worpress site locally and live are same but getting the mysql database,I don’t know how?

Used FTP client Filezilla to uploading the lcal site content but don’t have any database access to set up the mysqldb.ie; I only have ftp uname and password but don’t have any access to the host php admin page for mysqlDB setup

to setup the mysql you should be able to do it on your servers control panel or cpanel if you have access to a cpanel or control panel of some sort.

some servers set you up a mysql standard for you to use, check your emails

server you mean local or live?

if you mean live server then I have only know the ftp name and password.

what access do you have on your live server, where did you buy the domain name from, and who hosts your site ??

    Thanks
    Okay that clears all
The reasons for this doubt is My boss said that the USING IMPORT AND EXPORT option available in Tool menu of wordpress administration page can be used to make a site to live.He said he know that way.But , he is not going to reveal that secret to me .He told me to find that way . But for me I didn’t find any answers on that and no tutorial He got all the thing you mentioned the live server, where domain name bought, and name of the web-host.But,I think he can’t give me that

Now I got what to do?

    Thanks anyway

He is correct about that, but you will still need a mysql database for the setup of the wordpress on the live server..

You will need access to the domain name / server to setup a mysql, without this you have no chance of installing wordpress and importing the data .:(

USING IMPORT AND EXPORT option available in Tool make only copy of the site contents, like, post, tags user etc to transfer into a site to another

    Funkywebsites

    (@funkywebsites)

yes thats correct, but you wil not be able to import it to new server, without a database ??

    okay,
So I need to get the name of live server/ the domain name from/ hosts of my site etc to get the mysqlDB setup (CPanel)

    Funkywebsites

    (@funkywebsites)

yes :0 if its cpanel / whm / plesk and many others.

unless you setup a mysql database on a remote location (ie another ip) or my servers and point to it. then it would work..
