Upload images not showing in Media Library

  • Hi

    Somehow, I have today the issue, that I am able to upload images, using them wherever I need them, also when I am uploading them, they are showing in the media library…

    … then I do some other work and stuff, when I go back to the media library, or like to use the library, I do not see the latest uploaded images.

    Checking them in the file server, I see them. They are in the correct folder.

    What can I check else?

    This is finally the first time I have this problem…

  • Hi Simon,

    When you open the media library, are you selecting “All Dates” and “All media Items” from the drop-down?

    It might be that you have uploaded to a different folder and you are viewing different date in the media library. By default WordPress stores images in year and month based folders inside uploads directory, like this: /wp-content/uploads/2018/04/.

    Thank You for the reply, I can confirm the follow information:

    – I have selected “All Dates” and “All media Items”
    – I am aware about the default directory, it is set that it use year/month

    When I go an check on the server, I see all images in the correct folder.

    What I also tried to do already, is using a plugin to regenerate images.

    Here You find an image I used for revolution slider: https://travel.one-2-support.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Angthon-Marine-Park-1.jpg

    But I do not see this image in the media library. If You open the folder: https://travel.one-2-support.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/ You also see those images. Just not in the media library.

    Dear Yashita

    As a small follow up:

    I did a quick install on a other server, and this worked. Meaning, I will never see images not appeared before, but if I put a new images in the media library, and working around, then coming back to it, then I see the images…

    So, something might not okay with the server, where I had the issue.

    If You have a tip how I can scan for images, and let them showing… would be great.
