Hi, So I am getting started with the free version of your plugin and liking it so far. However, I want the ability to upload images to the Post Content field. Is this a USP Pro feature.

Right now I can only upload images that appear as featured image or at the top of the post. Alternatively, I can add a url link. But I want users to be able to upload images.

    Thanks for your time.

    Glad to help:

“I want the ability to upload images to the Post Content field. Is this a USP Pro feature.”

This is possible in the free version when the following criteria are met:

      • The Post Content field is set to display as Visual/RTE
      • AND the user is logged in with sufficient capabilities

When both of those are true, the Post Content field displays an Upload Media button, which enables users to upload images. More information about this here.

Also note that the plugin provides an option to automatically display any uploaded images. This setting is called “Front-end Display” > “Image Display”.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can provide any further information.

Thanks, I want this functionality without the user being logged in. Is this available in the pro version.

The free and pro version work the same way, based on core WordPress functionality. If the user is not logged in, WordPress will not be able to verify capabilities. So they will not be allowed to upload files. It’s a security feature, to help keep sites safe.
