Upload images height are restricted to 400px max.

    I am using Twentyten theme.I am also using meteor slideshow and my images are 750×500.
    I upload the images as the same size (750×500), but when it shows on the slideshow, the width comes as 750px but the height is only 400px and not 500px. In fact in the upload folder, the images are 750×400.It seems like the upload images height are restricted to 400px height maximum.

    I’d appreciate if anybody has a clue what causes the images to be not more than 400px height in upload folder.

    Did you set the slideshow to 750×500?

    Yes, I have set the slideshow for 750×500.
    I can’t understand why the images that are 750×500 in size upload at 750×400. and I think that is why they show up at 750×400 in the slideshow too. Even in media when you go to rescale the image, it says 750×500.

    Hi Helen, do you have any other image related plugins installed that could be causing conflicts? I would deactivate any other plugins you have installed and upload a test slide to confirm that this isn’t a plugin conflict.

    It sounds like the images themselves are being cropped, but could you post a link to the site you are working on so I can check that they aren’t being cropped or resized by your theme?

    Thanks for the help.
    I tried uploading the images very carefully and this time seems working OK. Although there is something with the meteor slideshow that doesn’t change the images correctly when I change the featured image.

    So, it seems working OK when I delete the image and upload it again with care.
