• A client of mine wants to use ultimate member for a site. He is willing to buy an extension for this feature, but it seems there is none (I asked them but they never replied).

The problem is: when uploading an image as a custom profile field, ultimate member just uploads one file size. I can limit the maximum width in the settings, but I can’t have different sizes for tablet and mobile.

Usually, WordPress creates a set of thumbnail images with each upload on the media library. Ultimate Member is not using this feature, so I wonder if it would be possible to hook into the upload routine and replace it with the default WP upload, that provides all the thumbnail sizes.

    Hi @heddesheimer,

By default, the plugin creates three thumbnails when a user uploads images (40px, 80px, 190px). This is used to improve the performance of the plugin by serving the thumbnails instead of the original image.

Additionally, please follow this link on Upload tabs:

For pre-purchase questions, please click on this link:

    Thanks.

I was talking about the image upload custom field, and the cover photo, not the profile photo, sorry for the miscommunication.

Is it possible to create thumbnails for the regular images too? I just get one image uploaded with a file name like:

    stream_photo_75f5203591f1f21a6f46a14ed2a91218_588d001e1ab0a.jpg

I have asked this in pre-purchase, but got no response. My client would pay for an extension if one would be available.

    Hi @heddesheimer,

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have built in function for what you need. This may require customization on your end to extend the functionality of the plugin.

    Thanks.
