Upload folders with Images to create posts/gallery?

I have several folders worth of images that I would like to create blog posts from. Doing this one by one will take quite a while so I was wondering if there was a plugin or some easier method of doing this. My blog will be images with in posts but having a gallery isn’t a bad idea though I would prefer they be organized by at least the upload folder they game from so they are some what separated.
