    Hello,

I would like to know if this plugin will have the upload file info in the backoffice, in the orders, and if this info will appear in the new order emails, received by the admins, with the full path of the file, in order to be downloaded from the email, without having to go to the backoffice.

    Thank you

  • Hi there,

For this purpose, you can check file upload feature of Product Add-Ons.

To learn more about this, please refer to the “Field types” section at https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-add-ons/#section-4.

Hello, I forgot to say that I need that the upload field needs to appear in the checkout page. I believe that the product addons does not do that, right? If so, the plugin that I referred first will do what I ask in the first question? I need to access the upload file from the a full path link from the new order admin email.

    Hi @mrcdf,

Thanks so much for clarifying that you were asking specifically about the Customer Upload Files for WooCommerce plugin.

No, that plugin does not allow you to access the upload file from a link in the email. No file link is included in the admin email. The file is accessible from the order details under WooCommerce > Orders > Order.

I did a quick test of Product Add-Ons and it does have a direct link to the file upload included in the admin email:

It looks like Product Add-Ons would be a good fit for you here!

Let us know if we can help with any other questions ??
