Upload File fields not working

I hope you’re well today!

I just tried to submit the form with a PDF and image files uploaded via those available upload fields and it seems it got submitted successfully. I got submission confirmation message on page and no errors in browser console.

Did you manage to get it sorted meanwhile?

If not, should I use specific file format(s) and/or size or test in some specific browsers? Please describe also a bit more in what way it doesn’t work (are you getting some error messages or submission is fine but no files going through and so on)

It would also be helpful if we could test the form on our end. You can export the form from Forminator so would you do it, please, and upload the export file to Google Drive, Dropbox or similar file storage account of yours?

Then just share direct download link to it in your response here and we’ll look into it.

I didn’t check anything after posting this message. Every time I would attempt to upload a file (preview or live) it would give me a red “x” I’ll recheck it now and let you know the results. If it still doesn’t work, I’ll export it to you. Meanwhile, just before seeing your reply, I went into an active form that I’ve been using for several weeks with no problem. I wanted to make a couple of minor tweaks to it. As you can see from the two screenshots, it is not listed anywhere in the Forms folder, but you can see it in the Submissions folder. I literally have to search for it for it to appear. I’m at a loss for words on this one. Please kindly advise.

Thank you for the form.

It seems there is a misunderstanding in the interface:

Every time I would attempt to upload a file (preview or live) it would give me a red “x”

This is expected, the X doesn’t mean anything went wrong but it is a button in case you wish to remove that file.

Now, about the other issue of having to search for certain forms, can you please kindly advise as to how we can rectify that?

By “search for certain forms” do you mean that “Search form” field on “Forminator -> Forms” page in site’s back-end?

This isn’t directly related to issue with upload fields so would you please start a separate support ticket about it?

Sorry. I meant to say that I have to search for the specific form I need to access. If you scroll up, you’ll see the screenshots of the page that lists all my forms and that specific form isn’t included. The only way I can find that form is to use the search field.

That’s very odd to hear this is happening – we didn’t receive any similar reports recently.

As I understand it, on this list https://ibb.co/0MwfFM9 a specific form isn’t showing until you search for it.

As my colleague requested, to avoid having two issues in one ticket, please start a separate one for that issue and we’ll assist you with this.
