Upload file button does not show up

    I am using Twenty Twelve Theme. I just installed/activated Woocommerce File Upload version 0.3.5. In eCommerce | Upload My File settings, I enabled the boxes for Completed, Pending Payment and Proessing. In the individual Products item, I enabled the checkbox Upload Files.

    I viewed the product in the site, added to cart, the Upload File button does not show up. I went to the cart page, no Upload File button on the side panel.

    I googled all FAQ and they all said to do exactly what I already did.

    Everybody said it is so easy and straight fordward. But I already spent an hour and still could not show the Upload File button.

    Please help. Thank you!

    Hello GTB,

    It is actually quite simple. Our plugin description starts with:

    Let customers upload a file after completing an order and attach this to an order.

    The WooCommerce Upload My File plugin allows customers to upload a file an attach it to an order. Once an Order is processed a button will appear in the order overview page and a file upload screen will appear on order-detail page.

    There is no upload button on the CART page or on the product detail page. Customers can upload files AFTER checkout.

    Hello. Me, like gtb, can’t find it. Neither after nor before checkout. I did all that is supposed to do with the settings: activated the plugin, checked upload files box in product detail,checked all status (pending, processed, …)

    I’ve got your free version and I can’t make it work.

    My WP version is 4.0

    Need help, please

    Hello Tom,

    As said before: the FREE version has never an upload field BEFORE checkout.

    All upload buttons are located on the order detail page AFTER checkout.
    Customers need an account to upload files.

    But that is the problem, as the button does not show on the order detail page AFTER checkout.

    It also breaks the My Account page (even with the use of the provided template).

    Hello,

    Unfortunately some theme developers overwrite standard WooCommerce hooks which could cause this problem.
    We can’t provide any support for this problem as it is most likely theme related.
