    Hi,

I’m having problems with the plugin in that it fails on the 4th line of the csv everytime.

I’ve tried deactivating / deleting / re-installing the plugin and the same thing happens.

I’ve downloaded the sample csv and created my own, the same thing happens.

I’ve tried mixing the order of the users in the csv incase it was one specific entry, when it failed on the user on line 4 I moved them to line 1 and they imported no problem at all.

It always successfully creates the 1st three users with any additional metadata I specifiy then fails on the 4th.

I’ve even monitored the wp_users table during the import, it never successfully imports the 4th user.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have over 3000 users to import.

    Thanks,
    David.

    blanch80,

Good afternoon, which error appears o what happens exactly?

    Hi,

I don’t see any error messages.

If I upload with 3 users in the csv i see the “Process finished you can go here to see the results”

When I add extra users to the same csv and try to upload (I’ve tried leaving the other users and deleting them prior to the new upload) I see ‘waiting for xxxx’ for a long time while it looks like the browser is working then the screen refreshes.

On refresh I see the first three users again but no “Process finished you can go here to see the results” line.

    Nothing.

Looking in the wp_users table is has created the 4th user but hasn’t uploaded all of the meta data.

I’ve tried using users that have uploaded successfully in position 1, 2 or 3 as the 4th (knowing the data has successfully updated in the past) and the same issue occurs.

I don’t see any message beneath the 3 users that have uploaded.

I can send screenshots if required.

    Thanks,
    David.

Just to note, I’ve tried uploading the CSV file from my desktop and also uploaded it to the server and gave the direct path – same result both ways unfortunately.

Have you asked you hosting? It seems your hosting is blocking the process for some time restriction.

Plugin tries to make it bigger (the max execution time) but it will be also restricted.

    Hi,

    I have access to cPanel.

I changed the max_execution_time to 400 from 90, ran the import again and there was no change, exactly the same thing happened.

    I’ve discovered it’s a plugin/theme conflict.

I deactivated all of my plugins and changed the theme to 2016 and the plugin worked just as it should.

Sorry, I should have checked that before posting on the forum.

    Thanks for you help.

    blanch80,

Don’t worry, only please do a good review for the plugin or a donation in order to allow us continue giving this good support.
