I am trying to upload a backup file from my computer. The file was originally created in a sub-domain while I designed it before replacing the old one. I can only get the import to 1% before the import failed message.

Is it possible that the problem exists because the imported file is under a different domain name?

Any advice appreciated as I really don’t want to have to do the site again!

@miggie Uploading might fail because of server limitation. You can upload the archive using an FTP client. Connect with your FTP client (e.g. FileZilla or Cyberduck), and upload the backup to “/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard” directory. Afterwards, backup automatically will appear on BackupGuard’s backup section.

    Thank you for your reply.

Don’t think it’s a server limit and if that should occur, I can increase the limit.

I have Filezilla and can see the file listed. How do I upload? Not used Filezilla before so could you please let me have the ‘basic guide’!

Help much appreciated for another learning curve.
