In general works as advertised. NEW images upload to cloudflare. However, Existing images are skipped during upload and produce error when I try to upload manually in list view. I think the issue is with the custom folder structure I have in wordpress. I use Devowl Real Physical Media plugin, so that the physical url for any item in the media library would be something like:

    example.com/wp-content/uploads/images/public/paintings/image.jpg

The path for new uploaded items is detected and uploaded to Cloudflare Images.

Previously existing images fail to upload to Cloudflare. This means they will all have to be replaced with new versions (which will upload) and all caches purged. This is a lot of work and will take a very long time.

    Is there another solution?

    Thanks,

    Peter Katoff

Solved my own problem. There is a plugin for this (of course). Installed Enable Media Replace Plugin. Allows replacing Media Library image file with New image file without changing the file name. Replaced existing image file in Media library with the exact same image file located on my computer. Effectively updates the image file in Media Library, and then it automatically offloads to Cloudflare. Some work involved but not so bad. Just have to update the existing images in Media Library and then purge cache.

I will mark this as resolved
