Upload error (code -200) : HTTP Error. (make sure that you were trying to upload a zip file.

Any plugin I try to install, it gives this error.

It’s likely to be a file permissions issue on your server preventing the uploaded data being written to disk. What happens when you try uploading a plugin zip *without* this plugin active? Also an error?

I’m getting the same error. If I try to upload without this plugin active I get 413 Request entity to large. nginx/1.14.0 (Ubuntu)

I am trying to upload UpdraftPlus in a zip file

@kyleb740 What happens if you try, without this plugin, to upload a small plugin?

So I uploaded this plugin (Upload Larger Plugins) via zip and it went through fine. This was without Upload Larger Plugins being installed.

The most likely cause is that the temporary directory in the install isn’t writeable. Please ask your web hosting company where you can find your PHP logs (if you don’t know already), and see what is being logged there.
