Upload error

  • Hello, I am trying to install the plugin to import my wp, but the following error occurs:

    Warning: touch(): Unable to create file /tmp/wordpress-importer.tmp because No space left on device in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 155

    Warning: unlink(/tmp/wordpress-importer.tmp): No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 479

    I put 777 permission in tmp, but it worked.

    Download failed. Unable to connect to /tmp/wordpress-importer.tmp

    Can anyone help me?

  • The error message suggests that your /tmp folder is out of space.

    Depending on the hosting account you have, that may or may not mean that your account is out of space. It may be just that the /tmp folder on the server is full.

    If you haven’t already, I would recommend contacting your web host. They can probably fix the issue for you.
