Upload date set to date of creation

    Hello,
    when I sync photos with WordPress the upload date of the media is set to the date the photo was taken, not the actual upload date.

    This causes some issues to find the photo in order to insert it into a post.
    IMHO this is a bug not a feature.

    Hello Mario,

    This is actually an option. You can either not check it, and it will be the Upload Date or check it, and it will be the Taken Date ??

    I actually recommend using the Taken Date, for so many reasons. In the future, you will be really glad that your Media Library is all neat and with real dates on your Media entries.

    Hello Jordy,
    as you mentioned it, I “discovered” the option (palm-face).

    At the moment I’m not sure about how to set it, as I usually upload the image when the related article was created. Let’s see how this will end.
