• I am trying to use my WordPress site to upload data from my raspberry pi to be viewed by customers. Basically I want people to be able to login to my site and have them view data specific to their system that will be sent by my raspberry pi.

  • That sounds interesting, but is it possible to clarify the end goal further? Is WordPress going to manipulate or contribute this information, or, is WordPress only displaying it?

WP can pretty much do what ever you can get PHP to do. I’m not clear how data gets from Pi to a public web server. Between Wi-Fi and Ethernet, certainly something is possible. Serving your site from your own box is possible, but generally problematic. The data could be uploaded to cloud storage through your box, where a public web server can get at it. Or uploaded directly to the server. I don’t see any problem doing so, it’s just a matter of tying the pieces together. You should do some searching, perhaps someone has already tied much of this together. Maybe it only needs to be adapted slightly for WP.

Awesome concept. Make it so! ??
