Upload child theme and install directly without Parent theme

    I want to upload and install child theme, but i don’t wan’t to upload first parent theme first and then child theme. All i want to do is I will put the zip of parent theme in child theme’s root.

    So Is there a any way to do so.???

    Actually, I want to do is upload a child theme zip including parent theme zip and while i upload a child theme zip.

    I’m not 100% clear on what you’re trying to do, but the reason that you can’t use a child theme without having the corresponding parent theme installed is because WordPress uses the files from the parent theme if a suitable file isn’t found in the child theme’s folder. To do this, WordPress needs to know what theme to obtain the files from.

    If you have the parent and the child theme, you could upload both themes to WordPress’ themes folder using FTP, cPanel, or whatever file management application your hosting provider uses. You could then activate the child theme and it would work correctly. You would never actually have to use the parent theme, but it must be present for the child theme to work properly.
