Upload button not working

I think I figured out the problem. I had set the “Profile menu default tab” to the gallery, and when I visited my profile it showed the gallery right away. However, in order to upload a photo I need to CLICK on the menu icon.

Is it possible to fix this so that the icon does not need to be clicked in order to upload photos? This feels like a bug. I would like to make the gallery the first thing people see when they visit a profile, but I also don’t want to confuse forum members when they are trying to figure out how to get it to work (just like I did).
