    Hello Maisfacil,

This could have a couple of reasons.

    1. On Plugin configuration, please make sure you’ve set the correct order status. For example: if you want to show the upload boxes only AFTER a order is completed, check the corresponding status. If you want to show the upload boxes when a order is processing, I would advice to check both processing and completed.

    2. On the order overview page (/my-account by default) only a hyperlink to the upload box is shown. The actual upload boxes are shown on the order detail page.

    3. If you’re using a template override for the order overview page, please make the changes to your theme to. You can find the required changes in the plugins template directory.

    Best regards,
    Bart

I am using Theme X from Theme.co and am very new to WP and Woocommerce.
I have the Pro version of Upload My File, and am also not seeing the option to upload on any of my checkout pages.

    Regarding your step #3:
How do I know whether I am using a “template override”?
How do I access the “plugins template directory”?

    Thanks,
    Nathan

I was struggling for days with this!!!

    SIMPLE FIX…

Open up a product in your wp-admin and you should see a checkbox “upload file” below the product image you selected. Select it.

PLEASE I ASK THE CREATOR OF WOOCOMMERCE UPLOAD FILE TO MENTION THIS FIX IN THE UPLOAD PROCESS OF THE PLUGIN AS IT IS NOT EASY TO FIND!!

    Hello both,

Our FREE and PRO plugins have different ways to enable file uploads.
For FREE it’s only a checkbox you’ve to select.

We will change the readme to include some extra information.

    Best regards,
    Bart

    Hello Gwenaelb,

Have you enabled uploads for all your products?
Have you checked corresponding order status which allow uploads in plugin settings?

Which version of WooCommerce are you using?
Which version of WooCommerce Upload My File are you using?

There is no template overrride for the order detail page, so uploads will always be shown if everything is enabled.

There is only a template override for the account overview page, which only shows a button to the order detail page.

    Best regards,
    Bart

    Hello I’m using Pro version.

    I have the same problem.
In the order detail page, I can’t see upload button.

The version of WooCommerce : 2.1.12
The version of WooCommerce Upload My File Pro : 3.1.4

Wow Farnhamit, you saved me some major pain. I went into the products and sure enough there’s a checkbox there that you need to check in order to get the upload functionality working. Thanks for that!

    Hi Gwen,

    That’s a bit strange.
Have you looked at the right place? That would be the order detail page.
So upload boxes are only shown after purchasing on the order detail page.

    Best regards,
    Bart
