upload a theme

  • I’m trying to upload the mh magazine lite theme to a new blog hosted by UK2. As per the ‘using themes’ instructions, in dashboard have clicked on ‘appearance’ then ‘theme’. Now looking to select ‘add new’. It doesn’t seem to be there. Can you help?

    I’ve already downloaded it. It’s the uploading I’m having difficulty doing.

    The ‘add new’ option isn’t there.

    thanks for downloading MH Magazine lite.

    You can upload themes to your self-hosted WordPress site in your dashboard under “Appearance => Themes => Add New”. Here you can find more information: How to install a WordPress theme.

    If you don’t have the “Add New” button in your dashboard, there might be some restrictions within your WordPress installation. Please ensure that you are logged in as administrator and if that’s already the case, we recommend that you contact your hosting provider and report the issue, because then they probably don’t allow uploading of themes.

    Please also keep in mind that the MH Magazine lite theme is a free theme that is available on www.remarpro.com. So there is no need to first download and then upload the theme. Simply search the theme through your WordPress dashboard and then install and active it.
