Upgrading with custom templates

  • I desperately need to get my wordpress upgraded to 2.1. I’m a little hesitant because it’s theme was pretty much built out of scratch. It’s very customized.

    How should I go about upgrading my wordpress? Is there an easy way?

  • Well, I designed the template for my Fable 2 website while I was still using 1.5, I upgraded to the 2.0.x series with no problems and finally 2.1 and it’s still going strong. I reckon you should be all right, but just make a backup, just to be sure.
