    I look after a website for a Textile and Stitch group; they do all the calendar entries, blog etc and I add new pages as needed and make sure backups are happening.

    Today I went to upgrade The Events Calendar to v6.0.6.2. However the Preview tells me there are 49 events that have errors – which is every single Event they have created!

    I’ve had a look at a couple of the events and there is nothing obvious as to what the ‘error’ stopping migration might be.

    Any suggestions as to what I should be looking for, or how else I could proceed.

    Hi @oxonbees, sorry to hear about this. I am curious what errors/warnings are shown when migrating. Could you provide any error logs? This would definitely help us pinpoint and help you better.

    Hi Abz,

    I read the Migrating doc especially the Requirements section and on checking saw that the website PHP’s version was 8.1.12. I downgraded the PHP to v8.0

    Tried the migration again with the same result – every calendar entry produces an error. However when I double-checked the actual version of PHP was 8.0.2 (or something like that).

    I downgraded PHP to 7.4…. and all the events migrated successfully ??

    Yes, that’s correct. We are still working on compatibility with PHP 8, and we have limited support for it. See the article here to know more → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/php-8-support/.
