Upgrading to Green Padlock from Orange (w/ SSL across Entire Site)?
-
Hi,
Fantastic plugin as always guys.As of yesterday, I decided to make use of the SSL settings within iThemes, and switched my Front End SSL Mode to “Whole Site”, and checked off for SSL for Login and SSL for Dashboard.
My site has a SSL certificate already installed properly as I was using SSL with the HTTPS plugin previously without issue.
The problem now is that my webpage URLs all begin with the https:// but without the green colour on the lock. Rather, I get the orange/bronze triangle, which when clicked on explains:
“Your connection to tradablepatterns.com is encrypted with 128-bit encryption. However, this page includes other resources which are not secure. These resources can be viewed by others while in transit, and can be modified by the attacker to change the look of the page.
The connection uses TLS 1.2.
The connection is encrypted and authenticated using AES_128_GCM and uses ECDHE_RSA as the key exchange mechanism.
My question is, is it possible to have the full green padlock identity for the website? I previously did have the green padlock when using the HTTPS plugin and locking only select pages of the website.
I noticed that even this WordPress webpage where I’m leaving this post displays the orange padlock.
Cheers,
Darren
