Upgrading to 2.8 killed all my pages, 404 error

Not looking good man. Not Found – Error 404 – Not Found. Other pages appear to work fine.

Ok, so we know that using /%catagory%/ first in the permalink structure causes the problem. So how do we fix whatever it conflicts with? Other than changing the permalink structure.

I’ve had this happen to me and found that if I delete the htaccess from the server and make a minor change in the settings then the htaccess is re-written and problem is solved. Not saying this will work in this case but hey, what have you got to lose?

That IS all that is my htaccess file anyway.
