upgrading to 2.6.2 wordpress

  • HI,
    I have a hosting account with BlueVoda and have C-panel with Fantastico.
    I want to update to 2.6.2. I’ve read instructions, forum info, ect.
    I’ve made a website or two, and have a blog on WordPress.com and Blogger
    so I wouldn’t consider myself a “newbie”.
    I just don’t know much about C-panel, like how to access the WordPress
    2.3.1 files that are there now, and how to upload the new version to c-panel in their place.
    I want to learn how to do this myself, and not have to depend on somebody else.
    If anyone could give me a little help I sure would appreciate it ??
