• My blog was working and I decided to upgrade to WP 6.6 because of the new features, but it was a great mistake, because several plugins seem no to be compatible.

Is there a way to go back to WP 2.5.1 in a safe way? I tried it, replacing the files again, but I guess the upgrade to 2.6 did some changes in the database, that I can′t revert.

    Can anyone help? Thank you!

  • I’m sure you made a backup of your database?
Btw. I use a whole range of plugins, not one them is incompatible with 2.6. Not all that much changed from 2.5.1 to 2.6.

Regarding the Plugins, I found WP insisted someone with my name was already using my API – the solution was to remind WP, at the bottom of the Activation page, which Domain we were dealing with and it said’ “Oh You!” Then it allowed the Plugins to properly activate again.

You may have seen though, elsewhere in the forum, I have my own hassles with 2.6 (hates meh) Blog wurx fine but says it’s not 2.6
