Upgrading to 2.3.1 – what not to delete

  • I was flicking through the list of items that I shouldn’t delete for the upgrade here: LINK

    I’m confused with regards to how it says don’t delete “wp-images” (the folder). I have several folders in different areas (all called “images”, without the “wp-“), so I’m not sure which images folder this is referring to.

    Would someone be able to point me in the right direction?

  • It is okay to delete those images folders.

    Besides, you have a backup of your WordPress files so you really can’t do much harm if you deleted the wrong thing.

    But deleting those images folders is okay.
