• Hi Anders. Thank you again for all your help.

I’m currently running Hemingway 1.67 and considering upgrading to 1.75.
Is there a change-log list or a summary of key improvements between the different versions?

My main goal is to ensure that my site is very fast. 1.67 works fast enough but I’m tempted to upgrade to 1.75 to see if it’s faster. My issue is that I host in AWS Lightsail so there’s no easy way to test and revert back to 1.67 if 1.75 is slower.

    To summarize:
Is there a change log anywhere? Know if 1.75 is faster/slower than previous versions based on user feedback?

    Thank you again.

So… I found a way to test 1.75. You can ignore the question above. But a new question please relating to this upgrade:

I run Google Lighthouse on the 1.75 version (I go to tarareck.com in Chrome, Chrome menu options -> More Tools -> Developer Tools -> Audits -> Run Audits). There’s a new red-alert around accessibility that wasn’t there before:

Buttons do not have an accessible name
When a button doesn’t have an accessible name, screen readers announce it as “button”, making it unusable for users who rely on screen readers. Learn more.
    Failing Elements
    button.nav-toggle.toggle
    button.search-toggle.toggle

    Any idea?

    Thank you again.

    Hi @obahat,

Glad you sorted it out. There’s a changelog section in the readme.txt file, which describes what changes are included in each update.

Lighthouse is correct on the buttons lacking in accessibility – there’s some work left to be done on that end in Hemingway. I’m planning on addressing it in a future update, but I can’t make any promises about when it will be released.
