Upgrading Genesis Blocks to version 1.2.5 causes error in the block editor

I upgraded genesis blocks to the 1.2.5 version and ever since whenever I try to edit the font size in the block editor it comes up and says “This block contains unexpected or invalid content”. It does let me select attempt block recovery however that just reverts it back to the original font size. This only happens in my genesis blocks, all of the original Gutenberg blocks do not have this problem. Also I have tried other settings in the genesis blocks, such as padding, and it seems to be working just fine. I would appreciate any help to resolve this problem.
