Upgrading from WP 2.02 to 2.6*

  • Hi;

    My Host told me that I can/should upgrade from my copy of WP 2.02 to 2.6*.

    They told me that I would lose all of the customizations I made so I backed up all of my blog files to my hard drive so I can put thing back together later.

    I’m using a customized version of the theme Jillij6.

    Is the them Jillij6 compatible with WP 2.6?

    Any other gotchas about upgrading that I should know about?

  • If you have a customized 2.0 theme it is likely that theme will have problems.

    Please review the development blog (click the Blog tab at the top of this page) for the things that have changed and talk to the theme author about making the theme available under 2.6.2.

    If you continue this thread, please provide a link to download the theme.
