    Hey Rick,

Do you have a link on your site for this? And did your last support request from before get resolved?

    Rick,

It looks like there is a conflict with another plugin that is also using simple_html_dom. Now I could send you a version of maxbuttons that could handle this but I don’t know if going from maxbuttons version 1.27 to 4.05 would work since there have been lots of change made.

Thank you for responding back. Sorry for the delay.

I would love to try the version you have. I’m trying to figure out the
conflict myself and not finding it. I’m copying all my plugin folders to my pc to do a deep scan to see what .php files have already declared this function simplehttpserver (class).

I found that “Category Specific RSS Menu” plugin also uses that function
    simple_html_dom in my scan.

    Hi Rick,

I checked and the plugin you mentioned indeed loads the same simple_html_dom class. However MaxButtons checks if this class already exists before trying to load it, making itself compatible with other plugins.

Unfortunately this plugin doesn’t do the same, so it’s not compatible with MaxButtons. You could ask the developer to update the plugin so it checks for this.

    Thanks Bas.

I found I was only using the competing plugin for one thing so I decided to remove it from site. Now MB is current to 4.05 and working.

Good! So I’m closing this issue as resolved then.
