    Hi there!

First of all, congratulations and thank you very much that cformsII will still be upgraded.

I am using this great plugin from deliciousdays.com already in a while and decided today to upgrade it to the new version 14.9.5. As it is said in the instructions, I backuped the database and saved the old folder ~/wp-content/plugins/cforms.

There is just one thing now, I don’t understand exactly:
I have two folders now: “cforms” (the old one) and “cforms2” (the new one). Do I have to rename the directory “cforms2” to “cforms”? Can I delete the old folder without causing any troubles?

After upgrading from the “old” to the “new” cforms plugin, is there anything else I have to do?!

Thank you in advance about your timely response!

    Yours,
    Chipy

You can delete the cforms directory. You must not rename cforms2 to cforms. You should check if your forms are working after that. Resave them if the do not work.

If you have created any widget, you have to recreate it.

A known issue of the current version is that the Q&A will not work.

    Hi bgermann!

Thanks for your answer. I just saw it today, ‘coz I totally forgot about this post… :/

What do you mean by “Q&A”?!

    Thanks once again in advance!

Q&A is Question & Answer, one CAPTCHA available with cforms.
