    Hi there

    I’m using Redirection 2.6.5 on a website I have.

Now I’m setting up a new website with the latest version of Redirection.

I’m copying over the redirection rules from the old website to the new one.

However, it seems that the format has changed slightly.

On the old website, I’m redirecting

    \/(login\/\?action=rp&key=)(.*)

    to

    \/login\/\?rcp_action=lostpassword_reset\&key=$2

but if I paste this into the new version of the plugin, it complains about expecting the destination URL to start with a slash.

Do I need to rewrite the URLs to remove the escape characters, or will it work as is?

Thank you kindly for your help, and also for this superb plugin.

Nothing has changed in the format, it’s just a notice. You can ignore if you wish.

The only character you need to escape is the ? – the rest aren’t necessary with the old version or new version, and certainly shouldn’t be part of the target.

Aha, I see. The target works regardless of the extra characters, so if they’re not causing any problems, I think I’ll leave them for now. Thank you for your quick reply.
