Upgrading from 2.6 to 2.6.1

  • Hi there,

    reading the how-to from the readme file on the 2.6.1 release about upgrading, I got a question. Is that the only way how to upgrade, oralso through the “diff” files also? I mean, do I really need to delete/move my actual 2.6 folders in order to upgrade to the last version, or I can just overwrite the files as well? That may be confusing to many…

  • You CAN overwrite, but especially with larger upgrades, it might be a better idea to delete the old files. It could be (for example) that an older version has a file that is no longer used in a new version.
