Upgrading from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2
-
I tried to update my wordpress version with no success at all. My host provider “canadianwebhosting” provides fantastico, but fantastico is still only offering the 2.3.1 version to install. It wasn’t a big deal until today.
Today I published my drafted articles, but before that I was busing installing nucleus on a subdomain. I struggled with that too and finally gave up on it, and went to visit my site at https://www.crookedincanada.com and was shocked to see this error report:
Warning: include(/home/blogger/public_html/celebrity/nucleus/libs/globalfunctions.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/blogger/public_html/config.php on line 17
Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home/blogger/public_html/celebrity/nucleus/libs/globalfunctions.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/blogger/public_html/config.php on line 17
Fatal error: Call to undefined function selector() in /home/blogger/public_html/index.php on line 8
I have no idea why this has happened. I contacted my host provider but to no avail. The only help they offered was to tell me install wordpress again and start from scratch. Too bad they are still only offering 2.3.1, otherwise I would have considered doing so. The only problem with that though is that I’m going to lose almost 3 months of material that I published in my blog no matter what I re-install. I need some serious help here as I don’t want to lose the stuff that is already on my blog. It is really heartbreaking, never mind frustrating that this could happen. Please help.
