Upgrading from 2.0.2

  • Hi guys,

    I have searched the forums – but I haven’t found enough specific instructions –

    Basically I need to upgrade from 2.0.2 for a friend.

    I will export the database first

    Then I will disable the plugins –

    The next part I am not so sure of –

    this thread here says to upgrade to each of the versions following

    is that correct?

    or can I just upload the new version then import the database etc?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

  • Follow the instructions in that thread. Do not try to upgrade to 2.9.2 in a single step. You will almost certainly trash your database. Importing the db into the current version won’t work either. There have been too many db changes since 2.0.2
