I’ve just updated the AMP plug-in on my site to version 0.2, and now all the AMP pages are blank.

    Here’s an example:

When running version 0.1 of the plug-in, the pages appeared fine.

Strangely, the page source appears to be generated OK (it’s visible with View->Source) and there’s a scrollbar down the right of the browser, so clearly there’s content there. But it appears something is stopping it from being rendered.

I’ve tried in FF, IE and Chrome – all the same.

    Any ideas what’s causing this?

  • Looks like something (maybe another plugin?) is incorrectly injecting a defer attribute which is breaking the tag and making the main AMP script not load correctly. This is making the page not render correctly. Here’s what the script tag looks like:

    <script src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0.js' defer='defer" async></script>

Notice the added defer attribute with incorrect single quotes.

Ah, that’ll be the Speed Booster Pack. I’ve added an exclusion for that script and it works now.

    Thanks for your help.
