Upgraded to 4.5 and now have the white screen of death

  • Hi,
    One of our sites upgraded and now we have the white screen of death.
    I’ve done the following:
    disabled all plugins via file manager
    disabled theme via file manager

    I can get access to one screen and no matter what I do I get the white screen. Please help!

  • I just had a white screen Jack but its back now. It did leave me a message though.

    I came out of my site in a right panic because I forgot to dl the XML first. DL the XML file means you lose nothing and can recreate in your cpanel a new instance of WordPress.

    You then go to the dashboard -> new WordPress Install -> tools -> Import. It will find your XML file.

    Of course that is the last thing you want to do if possible so..

    Try refresh; -> go to Internet Explorer -> Internet options -> delete Browsing History -> restart your machine -> log in if possible.
