• After upgrading to 2.6 I tried to delete a redundant default category. I had trouble changing default post cat and email to different category in 2.5 but waited until 2.6 upgrade to try and delete.

ERROR MESSAGE: Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in /home/tra16446/public_html/wp-content/themes/thesis/lib/classes/options.php on line 88 WHEN USING THESIS THEME

RETURNS: Error – 404 not found message when using DEFAULT WP THEME and send me to page https://myurladdress/wp-admin/options.php.

Have I done something with upgrade (used Fantastico on my host server to upgrade – seemed very easy – one click) or is there a fault with WP as I couldn’t delete category in 2.5 but never had a major crash!
