• Hey Guys,

I did an upgrade this morning to 2.3.2 from 2.2.1 and everything is messed up. Seems that my blog won’t access the DB properly to grab the posts. It seems to be reading link titles correctly in the admin, however when I click on the post link to preview, it says “sorry, no posts match your criteria”. However, I can edit the post from within admin. The DB seems to be intact, but wp doesn’t seem to pull the data from the DB properly. And yes, I did run wp-admin/upgrade.php after the upgrade.

One more thing, the feed still works.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • I think your theme isn’t supported by 2.3.2. Try changing to a default theme, if that helps, see if your theme has a 2.3.x version.

I have the same problem – “I upgraded from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 using Fantastico – Host Monster, but the blog posts and recent posts won’t show up in the front home page. I have tested the current theme with 2.3.2 version to other blogs and it works perfectly.
I think that it must be data base error with 2.3.2 version. Can anyone help me?”

mara, try deactivating all your plugins and activating them one at a time. That did the trick for me as it picked out the plugin that was conflicting with the new version of WP. The problem plugin for me was category visibility.
