Upgraded to 2.0.3… Not sure if i did it right…

  • This is really odd.
    I just upgraded to 2.0.3 but i am not really sure if i did the installation correctly.

    i was told to only delete files at root, wp-admin and wp-includes.
    After deleting, i was again told to only upload wp-admin and wp-includes.
    i ran the upgrade.php thing and checked the site to only find that the upgrade.php did not generate the files at root.
    I check WordPress main docs andd found out that i gotta upload the root files too.
    So which is right?

    Anyone care to check my site for any errors and pls don’t mind the the horrible theme. It is undergoing alot of changes.

  • login to admin, scroll down and see if it says 2.0.3 at the bottom… but if u did not upload all the files, most likely, it is not upgraded…

    I had problems too, and what i finally had to do was to follow the DETAILED UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS rather than the “5 Steps”. ?? Hope this helps.

    It says 2.0.3
    So i guess it should be upgraded nicely.
    Feel free to check the site and pound on it.
