Is this information set in your User Profile? If it is, enter it once as if you were registering and then it should recognize you forever.

If it doesn’t, then we have a bigger problem.

There is also a plugin that sets the admin’s comments to never be moderated that is worth a look.

Thanks Lorelle – but nobody can comment – do they have to register just to comment? I have the setting turned to off in my options ’cause I didn’t want people to have to register to comment.

I?′m having the same problem, when I set my options to require email address up comes an error saying that nothing has been written in the required fields

@iddapidda your comments seem to work when i tested it. although name/e-mail weren’t required.

lawtai: yes, I changed my options to not requiring name and email so that people could comment. If I have it set to “Comment author must fill out name and e-mail” then not even my own comments (when I’m logged in) go through

I’m having the same issue. If I use Firefox (shouldn’t everyone?) I can comment fine. But my IE users cannot leave a comment. They fill out the name/e-mail fields but it acts as if they are not filled and they get the error message. What gives?
