Upgraded Magazine Basic & Lost All!

  • I was using Magazine Basic for my main website. (www.annekleinberg.com). I stupidly did not back it up.

    I just upgraded the theme, and to make matters worse, upgraded to the latest version of WordPress. All hell broke loose! Lost my widgets (which took ages to create) and all customization of the site.

    Called Godaddy – to revert back will cost me $150! No thanks!

    This all started because I wanted a simpler site. Looks like I have no choice now.

    Is there any way to get back to the original site?

    Any advice as to which themes will cause minimal damage?
