Hi I was having a problem accessing my login page and blog after automatically upgrading some plugins, so I decided to update wordpress to 3.1.3, however after that, I know have this error.

Warning: main(/home/themot00/public_html/theonlooker/wp-includes/classes.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/themot00/public_html/theonlooker/wp-settings.php on line 267

I have no idea what this means, and someone advice me on how to fix it, I did not have this problem upgrading before.

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – re-running the upgrade manually using wp-admin/upgrade.php.

Hi esmi, firstly, thanks for the quick response.

    I just tried

    1) switching to the default theme
    2) resetting the plugins folder
    3) re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folder

So far I get the same error.

The line numbers look wrong to me. Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

Hi esmi, you can ignore my above post. I tried everything again one more time and it seems to have worked. Thanks again!

    No problem ??
