Upgraded and new idea suggestion fields gone

    1. Upgraded and now the new idea suggestion fields disappeared.
    2. I played around with ‘hide leaderboard’ to see what it does, and now I can’t shut it off.

    ideas?

    Enable Challenge was set to ON for some reason after upgrading. I turned it off and the suggestion fields reappeared as it is described in the help section below the settings.

    I don’t remember enabling the challenge setting. Could it be it enabled itself upon upgrade?

    Yes, because the challenge mode is a pro feature this could be set to on after upgrading. I will need to investigate these defaults from upgrade at a later time. In the mean time, just set things to how you want them.

    Regarding the prior issues, can you please save the settings, double check that the right shortcode is on the right page, refresh the page, and let me know if the issue persists. If it does persist you mentioned the idea suggestion fields disappear, can you expand on this as this is a pro feature only anyway.

    I can’t repeat the issue of the hide leaderboard setting not working. This sounds strange. Do you have any kind of caching enabled on your site, like Cloudflare or a caching plugin? If so please turn this off perhaps and hard refresh the page.

    I think it was something like this:
    When the leaderboard and challenge were enabled, the idea suggestion fields disappeared.
    As long as the challenge was enabled I couldn’t disable the leaderboard.
    No caching on the site.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
