    Hi,
Thanks for your fantastic work and it’s really perfect.

But I just met a problem that when I upgraded to WordPress 4.4.2, the BP Avatar Suggestions shows the error like “There was a problem while requesting suggestions” and it couldn’t show the avatar lists.

Could you check that? Thanks a million.

  • I’ve just checked. Everything works great for me.

Could you share a bit more about your configuration, because if you use BuddyPress + BP Avatar Suggestions with no other plugins, i have no issue.

    Hi,
Thanks so much for your help in Github issue page and this issue finally fixed under your guide.

It’s nothing with WordPress itself and plugin itself is also ok.

I just list the brief process of solving this issue:
    1. Try to find a draft post in Posts at backend panel – “BP Avatar Suggestions required post (do not edit or delete)”, the Permallink is “/bp-avatar-suggestions”;
    2. Go to “Media” -> Find your uploaded avatars -> Click “Unattach” and attach them to draft post in Step 1;
    3. Go to database, wp-options -> “bp_avatar_suggestions_post_id” -> Type into the post ID of draft post in Step 1.

    It’s done.

Thanks again for imath’s help and hope what I wrote here might help someone else in the future.

    Hi,

    I have the same issue.
    I have WP4.4.2.

I managed to create the draft post, then to unattach pictures and attach them to the draft post.
    Now I can’t see any “bp_avatar_suggestions_post_id” into the phpMyAdmin : wpcom-option.

    Can you help me?
    Thank you

    Hi,
I suppose that bp_avatar_suggestion_post_id should be in 5th. or 6th. page in wp-option. Just be patient to search.

If you still can’t find it, please let me know. I can do that for you anyway.

    Thank.

Thanks for your advice, after being patient I found it!

Just one more thing, as I don’t really know how to use this phpMyAdmin, could you tell me precisely where to write what?

    I have a table with :
    option_id
    option_name
    option_value longtext
    autoload

thank you, I think it will help some other people that will read this conversation

Actually I just did’nt understand ” Type into the post ID of draft post in Step 1.”

    Hi,
    Sorry for replying late.
You just need to replace the option_value as current post ID of that draft.

    Thanks.

    It works!!
thank you so much:) I was with this issue for a while.
