upgrade to v 2.9.1 but no get shortlink listed

  • I manually upgraded to 2.9.1 to get the shortlink option when creating page/post but the option does not show.

    Any ideas on why and how to fix?

  • What shortlink option? Do you mean Quick Edit?

    Not quick edit, the button is located right next to the permalink button, it’s titled get shortlink.

    I thought it was new to WP2.9 but I guess the other site I manage added a plugin that add it.

    So I’m not missing anything. It’s a good idea though.
