upgrade to the latest tag

  • Hi,

    We’re getting emails from Google (and customers) with regards from updating our code to the “latest tag” – updating your current Google Analytics tag (analytics.js) to the latest tag (gtag.js).

    Is this something that we should be concerned about and does anything need to be done?

    Hi,

    I think this might be a moot point now as Google has released Google Analytics 4 which works differently.

    Any thoughts on when we’ll be able to choose between the old and new GA systems through the plugin?

    Hello.

    The plugin currently uses the old Analytics code. New code is not cached.
