    Can I upgrade my Subscibe2 plugin to the paid version and keep the subscribers?
    Can the paid version provide Captcha protection and is it easy to setup.

    Regards
    Allan

    Existing subscribers preserved and used in Subscribe2 HTML from Subscribe2 (and vice versa).

    The paid version uses Google ReCaptcha, if you already have the 2 API keys needed you just add them to the Settings page – V2, Invisible and V3 are all supported.

    Thanks for your answer.

    How do I install the paid plugin to preserve the subscribers (remove the old one first or after)?

    @tcas

    After purchasing, install it in the usual way by uploading the zip file, then deactivate the free version and activate the paid version.

    Check that your data and setting have been preserved looking in Subscribe2->Settings and Subscribe2->Subscribers.

    Finally, when you are ready use FTP to delete the free version – to be safe DO NOT use the plugin page to delete the free version – that’s the highest risk time for data loss.

    After upgrading to Subscribe2 HTML version and activated reCaptcha there is no more spamming so it’s perfect.
    But I have another problem. When a post is published emails are sent to public subscribers in HTML full post format even if it is set up for Plain text excerpt format as I also used in the free version.

    I need an answer on this please. Our emails are too long when sent in HTML full post format.
